What BJJ Athletes Say About Me
“Trying to be a professional in a largely amateur sport has been a challenging journey for me. Meg has filled that void by combining her proven business savvy with her personal experience with the competitive sports scene. Her approach, "less effort, more impact", allows me to prioritize my training while learning other skills necessary to make a sustainable income as an athlete.” - Brianna Ste-Marie, black belt
“What Meg has taught me has changed my life. She opened my eyes to all the possibilities of making more money and being a lot more confident in asking for what I need!” - Bet Houghton, purple belt
“Meg is extraordinary at seeing potential in people and bringing them up to the next level. I’ve learnt so much and started to adopt better business practices. It’s making me 3x what I used to make.” - Margot Ciccarelli, black belt
Hi, I’m Meg He
I’m passionate about teaching business skills so that anyone can pursue Jiu-Jitsu full-time while financially thriving. For some top grappling athletes, I also act as their business manager.
I love Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and my partner (Margot) is a black belt. I saw so many of my full-time Jiu-Jitsu friends struggle to make ends meet. I realized that making money in Jiu-Jitsu had little to do with how good you are at the sport and a lot more with marketing, sales and negotiation.
So I started teaching these business skills to my friends (athletes and gym owners) so they can spend less time making money and more time doing Jiu-Jitsu. I want to help everyone in our sport earn more money.
I know a lot about business. As an entrepreneur, investor and Board Director, I’ve been recognized as Forbes 30 under 30, founded one of Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies, named as one of Goldman Sachs’ 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs, raised over $12m in venture capital and also have a MBA from Stanford.
