I'm the co-founder of ADAY, a direct-to-consumer brand with a mission to lift the standard for clothing. By combining seasonless design with technical fabrics, we create an effortlessly versatile wardrobe that does more with less and prioritizes sustainability. Each piece is also machine washable, easy to care for, consciously designed, made with a sustainable focus and a luxe hand feel. My co-founder is Nina Faulhaber.
My passion is creating meaningful integrated experiences between technology, people and brands, as well as being a business leader of high performing e-commerce, marketing and technology organizations. I am an investor turned operator with experience growing digital-first brands, also highly experienced with growth marketing, entrepreneurship, data, brand creation, consumer psychology, the future of retail, women in technology, entrepreneurial organizations, user experience, analytics, customer acquisition, brand marketing, SEM, affiliate marketing and email marketing.
I also think a lot about cultural diversity and identity, neuroscience, how to find and maintain flow, comfort zones (or lack thereof) and self-growth: how can I be my best self and my truest self everyday? What motivates our employees—and our consumers?
For my 30th birthday, I wrote about the moments in my life that changed me. You can find my other writing on Medium.

I like these personal beliefs:
- Don't be bored: do things that make your heart beat faster by figuring out what you're really optimizing for. The intersection of what matters to you, what you're great at and what you love is a beautiful space.
- Be your best self: know what inspires you to create your best work, find flow and through introspection, learn how to create and re-create an environment to best enable you to do this.
- Remember to teach: investing in those around you is one of the most valuable things you can do. It takes patience and kindness, two things I work on every day.

Prior to starting ADAY, my background is one of business, investing and technology. Born in Beijing, I grew up in the UK, worked first in London, travelled a lot, then spent the last few years in the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to New York. Some of my favourite experiences include helping Aileen Lee set up Cowboy Ventures, leading and creating engagement for millions of users at Poshmark and selling zinc mines in Namibia and South Africa at Goldman Sachs.

When I moved to the Bay Area for business school, I finally discovered what "being active" meant. Having always been clumsy and a book/computer nerd in primary, secondary school and university, I had never really worked out. I first fell in love with vinyasa yoga, later doing my yoga teacher training in Palo Alto, CA. I then bought a road bike, went hiking in Yosemite and tried everything from ice climbing, to running my first marathon (...slowly). I learnt exercise is as much for your mind as well as your body, setting me on the path to starting ADAY.
I’m now an active competitor in brazilian jiu jitsu and earned a bronze medal at the 2020 IBJJF European Championship. I also occasionally run with Brooklyn Track Club.
I live in Brooklyn, New York with my rescue pup, Helix and my partner Margot. My mindfulness-creativity routine involves a combination of meditation, no caffeine, jiu jitsu rolls, playing Chopin on the piano, hiking the Hudson Valley and the Catskills, Williamsburg-Manhattan Bridges runs and sound meditations.
